Crosswood Border Collies

In her first season of sheepdog trialing, Blue competed in the Novice Class, never placing lower than second. She placed second overall in her class at her first two-day trial at the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Texas.
As Hannah and Blue progressed, they entered the Open Class the following season. Although Blue had moved from the Novice to the Open Class, the highest level of trialing, she did very well, placing fourth and missing first by only a few points in her first Open trial.
Kate, ABCA 290240
Kate has also been adopted by Gentle Shepherd Farms
in New York.
Kate is a daughter of Blue by Dusty and a littermate to Fly. She is a loving little darling who's greatest desire is to be near her humans and please them. She, like Fly, is obedience trained and started in herding. She doesn't really like playing with tennis balls or frisbees, but she is a natural at herding. However, Kate is one of the few Border Collies that doesn't need a job to be doing. She would do fine as an active family pet if she couldn't be a worker.

Fly, ABCA 290241
Fly has been adopted. Her new home is at Gentle Shepherd Farms in New York.

Because of our responsibilities as Houseparents at Wears Valley Ranch Childrens Home, we have realized that we are no longer able to care for the needs of all of our dogs. With a sad heart, we know we must give Fly and Kate a better home.

Fly is a two year old little girl, daughter of Blue by Dusty, a sire near Oklahoma who consistently competes in the USBCHA Nationals. Fly is a sweet little thing, full of energy and fun. She is obedience trained and tested on sheep. She loves to herd and loves her balls and frisbees. Please contact me for a copy of Fly's pedigree.
